Soccer Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Grace Christian Academy after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Concord Christian Lions by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Grace Christian Academy of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Grace Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Concord Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0-1.

Coincidentally, Grace Christian Academy and Concord Christian will both be playing Providence Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Rams will host Providence Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
