Soccer Recap: Washington-Marion Comes Up Short

Washington-Marion lost against Kaplan back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Washington-Marion Charging Indians came up short against the Kaplan Pirates, falling 6-0. The Charging Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington-Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Kaplan, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Washington-Marion is taking a road trip to face off against Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Washington-Marion's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Kaplan, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sam Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sam Houston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Kaplan surely won't give up without a fight.
