Basketball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Geneva was the 58-45 winner over Calvary Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Geneva Knights lost to the Calvary Christian Academy Lions at home by a 69-52 margin on Thursday.

Geneva's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will be home for the holidays to greet Circle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Geneva is facing Circle Christian at the right time seeing as Circle Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against International Community at 7:00 p.m.
