Baseball Recap: Tiverton Tigers vs. Barrington Eagles
After flying high against Mount St. Charles Academy last Monday, Tiverton came back down to earth. The Tiverton Tigers fell victim to a tough 12-1 defeat at the hands of the Barrington Eagles on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tiverton of the 6-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Tiverton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamdyn Rego, who went 2-for-2 with a triple.
Tiverton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Barrington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tiverton will square off against Prout at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barrington, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
