Volleyball Recap: Wasilla Falls Short Against Ranked Chugiak + How To Watch

Wasilla faced Chugiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in August.

Wasilla dropped their record down to 14-12-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Chugiak, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Wasilla will challenge South Anchorage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chugiak, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 14th.
