It was a good run, but the St. Paul Catholic Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 73-57 to Crosby. St. Paul Catholic has struggled against Crosby recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Crosby was led to victory by Nevin Kinsey and Micah Blackman. Kinsey scored 11 points along with four steals, while Blackman scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Blackman scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jeydan Benjamin, who scored eight points.
St. Paul Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Crosby, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
St. Paul Catholic will finish 2023 at home by hosting Windsor Locks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Windsor Locks focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Friday.
