Baseball Recap: Edna Gets the Win

Edna won the last time they faced Palacios and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cowboys walked away with a 6-2 win over the Sharks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Seeley Peters spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Riley Palacios was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Edna's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Palacios, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Edna is set to challenge their familiar foe Tidehaven at 7:00 p.m. on April 2. Meanwhile, Palacios will take on rival Yoakum at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
