Baseball Recap: Satsuma Takes a Loss

Satsuma entered their contest against Bryant on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Satsuma took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bryant. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Satsuma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake May, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was May's first of the season.

Satsuma's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Bryant, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Satsuma will challenge Blacksher at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Blacksher has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bryant, they will host Theodore at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
