There's no place like home for Palmer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Rice by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Palmer hasn't had any issues with Rice recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Palmer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19, 25-17, 25-10.

Kayleigh Easley paced Palmer's offense, picking up 19 kills. Easley got some help from Colbie Greenlee and her 17 assists. Easley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Rice, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Palmer will square off against Blum at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rice, they will face off against Keene at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
