Basketball Recap: Northstar Christian Academy/Chesterton Academy Starts off Right with Win over Lima Christian

Northstar Christian Academy/Chesterton Academy took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They secured a 57-53 W over the Lima Christian Saints. The score was all tied up 24-24 at the break, but Northstar Christian Academy/Chesterton Academy was the better team in the second half.

Despite the loss, Lima Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Marsh dropped a double-double on 35 points and 15 steals. The dominant performance gave Marsh a new career-high in steals. Sophy Britton was another key player, putting up 14 points and four steals.

Northstar Christian Academy/Chesterton Academy and Young Women's College Prep will compete for holiday cheer on Friday. As for Lima Christian, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Finney at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
