It's playoff time, and Mosinee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They slipped by the Sparta Spartans 75-74 on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won three contests in a row.

It was another big night for Brayden Reinke, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards. He has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Treve Stoffel, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists.

Mosinee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Mosinee's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Sparta, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

Mosinee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-67 defeat against Onalaska on the 8th. Sparta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
