Baseball Recap: Goleman Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Goleman got themselves on the board against Hialeah Gardens on Thursday, but Hialeah Gardens never followed suit. They blew past the Gladiators 9-0. The win was familiar territory for the Gators, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Joseph Slattery looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Matthew Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maykol Alvarez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.
