Basketball Recap: Coopersville Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Coopersville entered their match against Greenville on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Coopersville Broncos took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenville Yellow Jackets. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 32nd).

Coopersville's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5. As for Greenville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coopersville will host Sparta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville, they will challenge Allendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Allendale's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
