Volleyball Recap: Rogers Wins Going Away Against Spanaway Lake

Rogers lost to Spanaway Lake back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rams put the hurt on the Sentinels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Rogers not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Spanaway Lake between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Spanaway Lake saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Scarlett Wilson had five digs and two aces. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Rogers now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Spanaway Lake, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
