Softball Recap: The Woodlands Comes Up Short

After flying high against Holmes last Friday, The Woodlands came back down to earth. The Woodlands Highlanders lost 16-2 to the Grand Oaks Grizzlies on Monday. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The Woodlands' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Grand Oaks, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, The Woodlands will head out on the road to challenge Cypress Ranch at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grand Oaks, they will be taking part in a tournament against King at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
