Baseball Game Preview: Clinton Cougars vs. Big Foot Chiefs

For the second straight game, Clinton will face off against Big Foot. The Cougars will host the Chiefs at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Clinton needed a bit of extra time to put away Big Foot. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Chiefs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cougars have posted since April 12th.

Clinton let Cole Williams and Logan Hendricks run wild. Williams went 3-for-4 with one run and one double, while Hendricks went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Hendricks a new career-high.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Big Foot, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
