Volleyball Recap: Mira Costa Victorious

Mira Costa saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals.

Simone Roslon paced Mira Costa's offense, picking up six kills. Roslon got some help from Milly McGee and her 13 assists. Roslon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Mira Costa's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cardinal Newman, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Mira Costa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against 'Iolani on the 15th. As for Cardinal Newman, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Byron Nelson on the 15th.
