Lowell strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down the East Chicago Central Cardinals 51-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

East Chicago Central's loss came despite strong showings from Lela Edmonds and Carliyah Spikes. Edmonds dropped a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds, while Spikes dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for East Chicago Central, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Lowell is taking a road trip to take on Hebron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Chicago Central, they will welcome Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cherokees' defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
