Softball Game Preview: Liberty-Eylau Leopards vs. Redwater Dragons

Liberty-Eylau hasn't had much luck against Redwater recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Leopards will take on the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. Liberty-Eylau has given up an average of 18.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Liberty-Eylau is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 22-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Boston. On the bright side, the 17- run effort marked the Leopards' highest-scoring match to date.

Meanwhile, Redwater lost 17-6 to Hooks on Tuesday.

Redwater saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karly Jo Brown, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Liberty-Eylau's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Redwater, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15-1.

Liberty-Eylau suffered a grim 22-1 defeat to Redwater in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Leopards avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
