Football Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy and Horace squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Legacy had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 21-20 to Horace. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Horace this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-13 back in September.

Legacy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Horace, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horace, they will face off against Century at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so Horace's offense will have their work cut out for them.
