Baseball Recap: Kennedy Finds Home Field Redemption Against North Hollywood

There's no place like home for Kennedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the North Hollywood Huskies get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Anthony Rodriguez, who gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks to keep North Hollywood off the board.

At the plate, Kennedy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Torres, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Joaquim Feliciano was another, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Kennedy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-16. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Hollywood, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
