Baseball Game Preview: Colfax Falcons vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

The Colfax Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Bishop Manogue Miners at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Colfax is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Friday just wasn't the day for Colfax's offense. They came up short against Lincoln on Friday, falling 9-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue got the win against Columbine on Saturday by a conclusive 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Miners, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Bishop Manogue is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
