It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Fulton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They never let the Syracuse Cougars get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. This was a revenge game for Fulton: when they faced off against Syracuse back in August, they had to take a 6-2 defeat.

Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Syracuse, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.
