Phoenix Christian barely beat Lincoln Prep the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Phoenix Christian was the clear victor by a 9-0 margin over Lincoln Prep on Thursday. Considering the Cougars have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Phoenix Christian's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Sierra, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Sierra has posted since back in February of 2024. Another was Nate Burton, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Phoenix Christian and bumps their season record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Lincoln Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

Looking ahead, Phoenix Christian will welcome Scottsdale Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln Prep, they have already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Miami on the 21st.
