San Antonio Christian waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They had just enough and edged out the San Antonio HomeSchool Wolverines 5-3. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Chris Kelly was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Nolan Amerman was another key player, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

San Antonio Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for San Antonio HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17-1 record this season.
