Softball Recap: Canterbury Crusaders vs. Lakeland Christian Vikings
Canterbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 16-6 to the Lakeland Christian Vikings. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.

Maddie Shadwick made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Ella Misenhelder also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Canterbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lakeland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Canterbury wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-6 win against Seffner Christian on the 13th. Lakeland Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McKeel Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
