Basketball Game Preview: Weskan Coyotes vs. Golden Plains Bulldogs

Weskan has gone 10-0 against Golden Plains recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The two teams will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 3:30 p.m. One thing working in Weskan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Weskan will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Northern Valley, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Weskan blew past Northern Valley, posting an 81-37 victory. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 28 points or more this season.

Weskan had a senior duo take command as Trey Allen posted 25 points and Judah Crow had 22 points. Allen's evening made it 35 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Eli Aldridge was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Golden Plains beat Western Plains 53-44 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Weskan pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39.1 points. As for Golden Plains, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Everything came up roses for Weskan against Golden Plains when the teams last played two weeks ago, as the team secured an 86-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Weskan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
