Scott entered their tilt with Lakin on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Broncs 15-5. That's two games straight that the Beavers have won by exactly ten runs.

Scott got a massive performance out of Payton Gentry, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayla Edwards, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Scott was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .370 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Scott pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lakin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Scott will take on Colby at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Beavers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Lakin, they will face off against Elkhart at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.38 runs per game on average), something the Broncs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
