Volleyball Recap: Weskan Comes Up Short

Weskan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dighton Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 6th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9.

Weskan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24-1. As for Dighton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-12 record this season.

Weskan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Western Plains on the 21st. Dighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
