Softball Recap: Mountain View Toros vs. Centennial Coyotes
Mountain View took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Centennial, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Mountain View came out on top in a nail-biter against Centennial on Saturday, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Toros have posted since April 4, 2024.
Jaelynn Fike tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off nine hits.
At the plate, Keelie Goodman and Tatum Eaton did most of the damage at the plate: Goodman scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Eaton scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Eaton posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
