Softball Recap: Clearview Takes a Loss

Clearview fell victim to Brookside and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 17-0. The Clippers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Clearview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giabella Calez, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Clearview's record is now 3-13. As for Brookside, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Coming up, Clearview will take on Black River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Clippers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Brookside, they will square off against Lutheran West at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
