Chesapeake lost to Ironton back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Chesapeake Panthers snuck past the Ironton Fighting Tigers with a 67-61 win. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ironton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Braden Schreck, who went 8 of 19 to rack up 21 points. Another player making a difference was Judah Barnes, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Chesapeake's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Ironton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Chesapeake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-49 defeat against Fairland on the 7th. As for Ironton, they have also already played their next match, a 63-39 win against Dawson-Bryant on the 7th.
