Softball Recap: Alcorn Central Bears vs. Nettleton Tigers
Alcorn Central extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 13-13 in the process. They fell 10-5 to the Nettleton Tigers. As for Nettleton, they pushed their record up to 27-3-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
