Basketball Recap: Williamson Victorious

Williamson won the last time they faced Elberta, and Paydon Davis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Williamson Lions took down the Elberta Warriors 37-21 on Friday thanks in part to Davis, who went 5 for 9 en route to 11 points and eight steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jarhiya Davis, who posted six points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Those five steals gave her a new career-high.

Williamson's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Elberta, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Williamson has already played their next contest (against UMS-Wright Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elberta has already played their next game, a 49-11 loss against Rain on the 20th.
