The Elyria Catholic Panthers will challenge the Coventry Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elyria Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

Elyria Catholic fell victim to North Ridgeville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coventry). They blew past McKinley 14-1 on Thursday. Considering the Comets have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Coventry's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Elyria Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 22-1.
