Volleyball Recap: Osborne Triumphs

Osborne posted their closest win since October 8, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Thunder Ridge Longhorns 2-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Longhorns recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Osborne found their leader in sophomore Gentrie Riner, who had 17 digs. Riner is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Osborne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Osborne's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Thunder Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Osborne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Rock Hills on the 11th. As for Thunder Ridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Tescott on Tuesday.
