Preview: Mt. St. Joseph Academy vs. Missisquoi Valley
Mt. St. Joseph Academy will look to defend their home turf on Saturday against Missisquoi Valley at 1:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Mt. St. Joseph Academy had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a serious blow against Poultney last week, falling 0-55.
Missisquoi Valley also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-41 to Windsor. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
