Volleyball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when North Judson-San Pierre challenged Glenn on Saturday. The Bluejays fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bluejays were not able to get on the board.

While North Judson-San Pierre ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Glenn found their leader in sophomore Trinity Stackman, who had nine digs and two aces. Anne Rhodes also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

North Judson-San Pierre is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Glenn, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Coincidentally, North Judson-San Pierre and Glenn will both be playing Twin Lakes the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Indians at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
