            Basketball Recap: Lutheran South Academy Pioneers vs. Second Baptist Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Lutheran South Academy lost against Second Baptist on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Lutheran South Academy Pioneers lost to the Second Baptist Eagles at home  by a   60-43 margin. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Lutheran South Academy lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Annaliese De La Pena, who  posted 17  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Varanauski, who  had 13 points and six  boards.
 Second Baptist found their leader in sophomore  Eloise Tackett, who  went 10 for 17  on her way to 25  points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Tackett has scored all season.  Grace Wehring was another key player,  putting up ten points and eight  steals.
Lutheran South Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Second Baptist, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran South Academy has  already played their next  matchup (against Logos Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Second Baptist has also has no score uploaded for their next  contest, this one against Fort Bend Christian Academy.
