Pendleton Heights was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Brayden Stevenson did his best to prevent it. Stevenson wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, Stevenson and Pendleton Heights will take on Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Stevenson's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Arabians' seven-game streak of wins at home.
