Volleyball Recap: Maplewood Falls to Warren in First Game of Season

Maplewood unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Warren Dragons on Tuesday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Maplewood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-15, 25-17, 27-25.

Coming up, Maplewood will be playing at home against Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on September 4. As for Warren, they will venture away from home to face off against Cathedral Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
