Softball Recap: Manti Comes Up Short

Manti and Logan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Manti had to settle for second. They came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 13-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-12 back in March.

Manti saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danie Alder, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.

Manti's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Logan, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Manti nor Logan have any future games scheduled.
