Basketball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Line Mountain Eagles. The Black Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Line Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Milton and Jersey Shore will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Line Mountain will take on Millersburg in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Millersburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Line Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
