Baseball Game Preview: Jeffersonville Red Devils vs. Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers

Jeffersonville is 0-3 against Pleasure Ridge Park since April of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Jeffersonville didn't have quite enough to beat Jasper and fell 8-7.

Ryan Crawford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. AJ Seifert was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Pleasure Ridge Park entered their tilt with North Oldham on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 20-0 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Pleasure Ridge Park pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Jeffersonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
