Soccer Recap: Abbeville Takes a Loss

Abbeville managed to keep up with GREEN Upstate until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Abbeville Panthers came up short against the GREEN Upstate Owls, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 goals in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Cameron Allen, who's now up to nine this season.

Abbeville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for GREEN Upstate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Abbeville will face off against Greenwood Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Greenwood Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Abbeville surely won't give up without a fight. As for GREEN Upstate, they will take on Ware Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
