Baseball Game Preview: Dupo Tigers vs. Valmeyer Pirates

Dupo is 2-8 against Valmeyer since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Pirates at 4:30 p.m.

Dupo is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game on Friday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valmeyer.

For Valmeyer's part, Logan Blanchard was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Blackwell, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Dupo's record is now 2-15. As for Valmeyer, they moved to 9-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
