After failing to score in their last contest, Avery County made sure to put some goals up on the board against East Burke on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cavaliers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Avery County, who have now won four matches by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit East Burke with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caitlin Shapiro (4), Dakota Dibble (2), Liinu Vepsalainen, and Sophia Schmidinger.
