Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Valley). Everything went their way against the Central Academy Cougars on Tuesday as the Sun Valley Spartans made off with a 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won seven in a row.

Sun Valley hit Central Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicole Kleyner (3), Sophia Seddon (2), Jasmine Ayala, and Hayden Sanders.

Sun Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Central Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sun Valley will welcome Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Central Academy face off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. They have given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
