Football Recap: Streator Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Streator was the 18-13 winner over Reed-Custer when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Friday. Despite 96 more yards than the Comets, the Bulldogs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

When it comes to explaining why Streator lost, don't look at Sam Lerette. Despite the final result, he rushed for 65 yards and one score, and also threw for 139 yards and one touchdown.

Streator dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Reed-Custer, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
