Basketball Game Preview: Warren Woods-Tower Titans vs. Lamphere Rams

The Warren Woods-Tower Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Lamphere Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren Woods-Tower will be strutting in after a victory while Lamphere will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Warren Woods-Tower blew past Center Line, posting a 58-18 win. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lamphere came up short against Clawson on Tuesday and fell 38-29. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 579th, while the Trojans are ranked 265th).

Warren Woods-Tower pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.7 points per game. As for Lamphere, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Warren Woods-Tower was able to grind out a solid win over Lamphere in their previous meeting on January 14th, winning 46-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warren Woods-Tower since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
